Moving--Stay Tuned!

Hi Web,

I'm moving to the large state of Texas in one week. I decided it was time for a change in scenery. While I'm roaming Texas, I will be on a mission to find a pleasant job. You may already know this, but I make no money on Behold The Cheese. I don't ever want to either. But I do have to pay the bills.

I didn't post up a new cartoon last Friday and I won't post a new cartoon this Friday, because I'm pretty busy getting all my things together for the move. I will let you know when I've successfully moved in, probably with a new cartoon and a silly blog entry.

Wish me luck!

Licking a 9v Battery - The funniest videos clips are here

Don't believe this kid. He has a terrible voice.

While licking batteries may not cause humans to die or explode, chameleons have a lower impedances than humans. See what happens at Behold The Cheese.

On Continued Stories and Grahams

Dear everyone,

I've put up a new cartoon on Behold The Cheese. I wanted to post it around midnight last night, but some of my other projects got in the way. By other projects, I mean LittleBIGPlanet.

Anyway, the new cartoon is posted, and it's still Friday, so I've met the deadline.

You might notice that today's cartoon involves three of the same characters from last week's cartoon. You might also notice I've never used characters more than once in my cartoons. This is mostly because I was lazy and didn't want to draw the same characters multiple times. I'll also argue that some things are better in just one installment, like Tony vs. Paul.

I mentioned a while ago that I had a 2-part cartoon in the works. The cartoons from this week and the previous week are those cartoons.

I should also mention that I love graham crackers. That might answer some questions you have about today's cartoon.

Mini-Update: Links Fixed!

Hello Web,

In the process of updating the site, some links got messed up. See below.

I'm writing to say that all the links on Behold The Cheese should now behave as expected. The main page now has a navigation strip below the drawing that will take you to other cartoons.

On Links and Shortcomings of the Static Web

Hello all,

As a first order of business, there is a new cartoon up at Behold The Cheese. If you'd like a clue at what it's about, ask Batman or this expert on interior.

You might notice that if you try to access cartoons from 2007 or 2008, some of the links aren't what you would expect, and the pages look a little different. I'm working on fixing this.

See you next week!

Mini-Update: Stay on Target!

I posted a new cartoon on Behold The Cheese today. My goal is to get a new cartoon up every Friday, and this is the second Friday I've done it. I've just got to stay on target, or else Darth Vader and his cohort might destroy me.

Duck, Duck, Goose

I used to hate when the person assigned the role of "picker" in Duck, Duck, Goose took an inordinate amount of time to pick who was goose. Most of the time, I would be elected as goose, so I hated waiting. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Duck, Duck, Goose, this graphic illustrates the concepts.

Why is this important? Because I've been that rotten picker who's made all of you wait. It's been a long time since I last posted a cartoon on Behold The Cheese. Take a moment to head over to the site. You might find that the metaphor used above has even more meaning.

You might also notice that Behold The Cheese looks a little nicer as a Web site. (That is, if your browser is Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera, or any other browser that supports CSS3.) Internet Explorer users, sorry; You won't notice a difference in the style of the Web site. Maybe when IE9 comes out.

I never imposed a deadline on myself for delivering new cartoons. It wasn't until earlier this week, when I told a good friend of mine, "You'll see the new cartoon Friday at 12 AM!" that I really started to care about getting these cartoons done on time. (That said, it's about 2 AM right now. I was close.) It's my goal from this point to put up a new cartoon every Friday. I encourage you to yell at me if I break my promise.

That's all for now. I hope you enjoy the new cartoon.

Blog Migration

Hello everyone,

Blogger has asked me to move Fromage to Google's server's instead of my own. In the process, some of the images on Fromage have been lost. Please bear with me as I update Fromage.

Thanks,
