I used to hate when the person assigned the role of "picker" in
Duck, Duck, Goose took an inordinate amount of time to pick who was goose. Most of the time, I would be elected as goose, so I hated waiting. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Duck, Duck, Goose, this graphic illustrates the concepts.
Why is this important? Because I've been that rotten picker who's made all of you wait. It's been a long time since I last posted a cartoon on
Behold The Cheese. Take a moment to head over to the site. You might find that the metaphor used above has even more meaning.
You might also notice that
Behold The Cheese looks a little nicer as a Web site. (That is, if your browser is
Firefox,
Chrome,
Safari,
Opera, or any other browser that supports CSS3.) Internet Explorer users, sorry; You won't notice a difference in the style of the Web site. Maybe when IE9 comes out.
I never imposed a deadline on myself for delivering new cartoons. It wasn't until earlier this week, when I told a good friend of mine, "You'll see the new cartoon Friday at 12 AM!" that I really started to care about getting these cartoons done on time. (That said, it's about 2 AM right now. I was close.) It's my goal from this point to put up a new cartoon every Friday. I encourage you to yell at me if I break my promise.
That's all for now. I hope you enjoy the
new cartoon.
